Who's Mary Leedy? |
My darling husband and I have 3 children, ages 2, 4, and 6. They keep me on my toes but never does a day go by where they don't welcome all my hugs and kisses. I'll never forget the day when my daughter gave me a hug and kiss and said I love you for the first time, or when my son first leaned his cheek in so I can kiss him, or when my 1 year old son first took my face in his hands and put his nose up against mine with a smile. This, this is what I've lived for, and it brings tears to my eyes every time.
After my daughter was born, I went back to work but after awhile, daycare just wasn't for her so I decided to stay home. I had the worst "cabin fever" I think I've ever had in my life! So I figured I needed to find something that makes me feel like "Mary" again and not just "Mommy" all the time.
I found a wonderful supportive home business with soy/veg candles that resonated within me the moment I "smelled" the opportunity. I have a passion for candles and have always been drawn to them since I was a child. It made sense to do the business since I really enjoy how they make me feel. I have a lit candle burning in my home at all times because I find that it enhances my family's mood as well as mine. I talk out loud about my dreams, hopes, goals, and problem-solving ideas because having a candle lit gets a message to people who can help me as well as the spirit world. Now, I'm not surprised when something comes true or what I'm looking for appears right in front of me. Like the saying goes "Ask and ye shall receive". A little phrase that has a profound meaning! :-)
Within the past 2 years, I've had what I tell people a "mindshift" and what mentors call, a "breakthrough". I started thinking positive and saw a good twist on everything bad that happened. This gave me strength and an open mind. Suddenly, I've been getting the very things I needed because I was asking for it. The powers of visualization, gratitude, and appreciation are beautiful things. :-) I've come to learn that my personality colors are blue and yellow with some green and just a tad bit of red. Blue is for fun and energetic; yellow is nurturing and helpful; green is analytical and problem solving; red is power and money-oriented. I thrive on having fun and being helpful because it warms my heart to be able to help someone whether it's in a big way or a small way. What color are you?
My home is near the beach in NJ. I've spent my childhood summers with my parents and brothers and sister. This is where I felt the most alive and became the person I wanted to be even if only for just the summer. Now, I'm here as an adult and wouldn't have it any other way. My kids have come to appreciate the shore like I do.
My "vision" with the soy/veg candles is to become a Director and teach my team that optimism, positivity, and the right mindset will help them achieve their dreams. What's the one thing that all successful people have in common? A Mentor and a Mastermind Group. I am involved with one that has helped me grow personally and professionally and this key element in personal/business development will be available to you for free. I believe this mentoring will help accelerate your success which you rightfully deserve. Believe it and it will happen. :-)
A few last words I'd like to leave with you - State your desires out loud because they do come whether you like it or not. And if you can get yourself to the beach, take in the scenery, there's more than just sand and water. :-)

What IS it about a candle??? |
Have you ever had a candle burning in your house that smelled soooo good that the person walking through your door asked you when the goodies baking in the oven will be done? Yeah? I know! Me too!! And of course, in my head, I'm thinking "hmm, yeah right, I WISH I could bake as good as that." I tell them it's my soy/veg gourmet candle in the Hot Apple Pie scent (or Banana Nut Bread, oh heaven). The next thing they want to know is "Can I borrow yours for awhile, I'll give it right back, I promise". And being the good friend I am, I let her take it home to experience for awhile. A week goes by, nothing. I finally get her on the phone and you know what she says? "Ah, sorry Mar but my mother's got it for a couple days because my sister gave it to her but don't worry, I'll get it back to you." Yep, right right, ok. I get a phone call from her 2 weeks later, "I need 3 of those you got any?" LOL Could this describe you? Kinda like loaning out your favorite clothes to a best friend huh?
What does a candle do for you? Think about it - relaxation, de-stressing, ambiance in the room, and brings back fond memories, and mood enhancing. Yep, works for me too!
