Hi! I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful girls ( this is where my inspiration came from) I have 2 web pages, this one, www.Picturetrail.com and also.... www.myrtlebeachbabiesbytinalaricci.com
I've been creating reborn babies for about 4 yrs now and I just love this art-form. Each baby always turns out with it's own little personality. I can actually take a photograph and recreate it into an heirloom doll. These are my double take dolls. Each baby is carefully washed, painted, given a new body, I then micro root each hair into it's head to give the appearance that the hair is actually growing right out of it's head. Usually, it's only 1 or 2 hair at a time. Yes, it is a time consuming process, but is so worth it. micro rooting really brings baby to life. I also carefully open up the nose to make it a "breather" as we call them in the reborn world. Each baby is painted to perfection to give baby a true skin tone. I use the Genesis heat set paints, and I must say, these are the best paints and most realistic looking colors I have come across. Each baby goes to it's new MOMMY with an outfit, plus and extra one, maybe a sleeper or sun dress.. depending on the baby, a diaper, plus one for the trip home. I can also give the baby a magnetic paci.... these magnets are strong and one should use care when around pacemakers and pc's.. Baby will also come home with it's own birth certificate bearing it's name that either the new mommy chooses or I do, either way. There are lots of other little goodies too. Re-borns are taking over.... a true artist knows how to color, weight and micro-root the hair perfectly. I guarantee any baby that leaves my nursery. You will definitely get double and triple takes. Some may even ask you... Oh, how old is your baby, and you will tell them an age, and they will smile and keep going....They can't even tell it's a doll. Introduce Yourself:
Hello! My name is Tina and I live in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I have so many interests in life. There are so many things that I just love to do!
I can start off first by raising my 3 beautiful gifts from God, all little girls!
I also enjoy many areas of crafts and if I had the time, I'd be trying just about every one. I enjoy cooking homemade italian dishes, I love singing and playing guitar, fishing, crabbing, shooting pool, skiing,swimming. I really could use this whole area up :-) ~
One of my most treasured talents is creating heirloom baby dolls. This is such a wonderful artform and is sure to give smiles just about to anyone. These babies take quite a bit of time to create, this is not something one can do in a day. Each baby takes at least 2 weeks to complete and no 2 babies come out alike, I could try, and get close, but they all have their own little personalities....I love people and I love life and try to live it to it's fullest! meeting new friends is always a pleasure. I love Law & Order SVU.....I think it is because the Perp always gets caught and justice is served. One thing I can not stand is for any child to be victimized in any way.
I also like to watch Charmed... Saved, shows of that nature |
Favorite Music & Bands:
Would have to be Classic Rock, today's Pop/Rock and some Country, especially todays Country. Easy listening
Not into heavy metal, rap or volient music |

Believe it or not, Ghost, Forest Gump, Pretty Woman..
I love action films and especially Who done it and Revenge! |

I love The Islands!
If I had the chance, I would love to visit Australia, Italy, Greece and France...... I do the The caribbean waters also
the tranquility of the beautiful waters..
There are so many beautiful places I'd love to visit in my lifetime, and who knows, maybe I will be fortunate to see them, If not, Thank God for Pictures! LOL |

I Love to read anything Non Fiction...
I just finished reading a book on 911.... Very disturbing though. I believe there are lot's of people who need to wake up and see what is going on with our world......
It's pretty scarey and I believe most are taking everything we have for granted. This is only my opinion |
