Hi from the land downunder.
I'm a retired Primary (elementry) School Teacher. I live about 350 kilometres east of Melbourne (Australia) in a lovely little hamlet called Eagle Point which is situated on the beautiful Gippsland Lakes. I have been married to Douglas for 38 years and have one daughter Sharon, son in-law Shayne and a 6 year old grandson Brady (the apple of his Nanny's eye). I have always knitted and have been cross stitiching and stitching on canvas for a long time. I love gardening and have about 70 roses..my favourite flower... in my garden. When I retired in 2004 I decided to try beading when a craft shop devoted to beading and scrapbooking opened up in the nearby town of Bairnsdale. And so the passion began. I am still learning and enjoy trying out a variety of techniques and styles. I only now feel confident enough to share some of my creations. I hope you enjoy browsing.
