About Me |
I am 52 and live with my husband Don in southwest Alabama and between us we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. We both love to fish and are both involved in Indian Artifacts and belong to several Archaeological Societies.

Hi there, my name is Wanda and I am from southwest Alabama. There's not a lot that I can say about me, I am an easy going person, love my family and friends and live life one day at a time. If you want to know more, just ask. |

Interests & Hobbies:
I only have one hobbie now and that is beading. I usually do what is called bead stringing but I am learning how to do other types now. |
TV Shows:
I have several favorite TV shows and probably can't remember all of them snce I am trying to think about them. We always watch 24, Lost, Prison Break, and I try to watch every Nascar Nextel Cup race. The Busch races are ok and if I don't have something else to do I will watch them. My favorite driver is Tony Stewart but I have to pull for Dale Jr. too. If Jr. is winning I pull for him but that is very few times and far between. Tony has been dealt a lot of bad hands this year but he is hanging in there. GO TONY!! GO JR.! |
Favorite Music & Bands:
I love music but I don't have just one favorite singer or group. I guess my top pick is country music and there is no way I can name all my favorites but they include Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, George Strait, Reba, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols and newcomer Carrie Underwood.
I won't keep boring you with all this but if the music is good I like it.
My favorite new singer is Mr. Soul Patrol himself, Taylor Hicks. I liked a lot of the other contestants that competed with him on Americal Idol but I pulled for Taylor from day 1. He is a fellow Alabamian but that is not the reason I voted for him. I loved his personality, that little smile he always had and I loved the way he had fun with the songs. I know a lot of people didn't like him but that is their right, but he is #1 in my book!! |
Favorite Movies:
Gosh, I have several favorite movies. Some are older movies and some are newer. They include Chances Are, You've Got Mail, Dirty Dancing, Rush Hour 1&2 and lots more.
I like love stories, action movies, science fiction especially vampire movies and some westerns. |
Favorite People You Know:
My family takes the long top row in my favorites and my friends take the very long second row and I can't say that one is more favorite than another because I love them all.
Next in line but not last by no means are the men and women who fight to keep our country free. |
Favorite Celebrities:
Hmmm, that will take a little thought. |
Favorite Reads:
I love to read when I have time and some of my favorite authors are James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown. I feel the same way about books as I do music and movies, if its good I like it. |
