About Me
I am an artist living in Tasmania. I work mainly in sculptural form - mostly small mixed media pieces. I have always loved making dolls in various forms - I find them to be a very direct way of communicating ideas, because they are approachable, tactile and non-threatening (usually!). Their appeal is direct - it can even be visceral.
I also work part-time in a local high school as the technician in the Art department.
Apart from that, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren (and I am pretty sure they still enjoy spending time with me!) I also like to travel, when time and commitments permit. My husband is a writer/photographer/outdoor guide. We have a busy, varied and interesting life.

Favorite Quote:
At the moment, my favourite quote is from a song by Paul Kelly and Kev Carmody called 'From Little Things Big Things Grow' - it goes like this.................."Power and privilege can not move a people..............a people who know where they stand in the law.........."
This relates to the fight we are having to prevent a massive chemical pulp mill being built in our beautiful valley. No-one except vested interests wants it.
