Introduce Yourself:
I fell in love with Indian Runner Ducks in the year 2005 at a friends house. They made me laugh and smile and still until this day! I decided to start out with some Holderreads SQ stock in 06 and got some wonderful birds. I've been adding different Exibition stock to my standard and rare color lines since then. The colors of runners I have are White, Grey, Chocolate, Black, Pastel, Lavender, Trout, Cinnimon, Fairy Fawn, Blue Fawn, Silver, Emory Penciled, Penciled, and some other varieties.
I've been raising Show Quality Silkies since early 07. At this time I am only raising Lavender silkies. I also breed and raise extremely rare and heritage breed poultry to the highest of standards. Conservation is our main concern, and we sell fertile eggs and stock to others with the same vision. We show some of our birds and are working on getting breeds recognized. I also raise rare waterfowl to the highest of standards.
We have one Peacock named Whimsy..my son just "had to have him" and we bid on him at a auction & now a Peahen named Cleo. Our first ducks are now 7 and they are Buff Ducks named Sipsi & Bell (from Fried Green Tomatoes) they run the farm. Revolutionmama Ranch also takes in rescued and unwanted farm animals - non profit. Oh can't forget our inside animals...Pippin my white Chihuahua, Ephiphany our black Chihuahua, Gromit our Blue Fawn Chihuahua & Titan our Great Dane.
I love animals, and it has always been my dream to own and operate my own farmstead to save dying or rare breeds.We love to organic garden, and I love to make funky poultry houses with recycled materials and solar lights.
I have two wonderful boys, Zaine & Phoenix who love and care for the animals around our farm. We love our animals like family! |

Interests & Hobbies:
Motherhood, Animals, Watercoloring, Felting/Fiber art, gardening, reading magazines, antique shopping, Watching period time movies, reading books. I love the Victorian time period and any movies about that era. Music, Beeswax Collage Art. Making childrends vintage items. On top of my farm I work as a independent Broker/ Rep / Demo Coordinator - KS for Independent Natural Food Brokers with our vendors products being in Whole Foods Market among other natural foods stores. |
TV Shows:
Antique Roadshow, and PBS/BBC shows. I really think TV is a waste of time, it's all a bunch of nonsense anymore. |
