I have been raising & showing silkie bantams for 6 years with my Mom. I have my own little flock of my own including other pets in the house. I just love the silkies, but I have grown to love a wide variety of animals. I raise Frizzle/Smooth Polish, Gray Silkies & some Parakeets as well. I also have a Rabbit, Cockatiels and some Poofy headed ducks.
So more to love!!! :-D

Thats great. I am glad she is giving you s omany yrs. Its hard to say but I have had some up to 12yrs but most live to be 5-7yrs old. Thanks for the comment and take care

Thanks, I know my birds don't compare to yours. I got most of the chicks from another girl on the list. She had hatched out all she wanted for the year and gave them to me. All I paid was shipping. Out of 4 dozen eggs I hatched 25. Not too bad I guess. The rest of them I bought at an auction. I think some of the ones from her will be better quality than what I have now. I still love my old plain ones though. I hope a couple of them are splash because I don't have any splash yet. My kids are spoiled brats too, but I love them just the same. I guess it's my fault anyway!!! TTYL. Kelly

Thank you - i really don't work on it as much as i should - i have LOTS more pictures to post of some great looking babies i hatched this year that i consider my own line now
so i have Conness Crazy Acres babies that will have their own picture slide show one of these days : )
