Hi my name is Mara Trumbo, a native of Italy, grown up in Southern Africa and now living in the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee after 15 years in Florida USA. My new home has offered me many opportunities, developing in the art field from painting to sculpting, pottery and my latest love, China Painting. I owe a lot to PBS TV through which I taught myself the various techniques. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to meet those TV artists and be instructed by them in person. I am now a Certified "One Stroke Painting" teacher, but continue to pursue the learning of fine arts in every form. I am currently studying to become a J-CAT (Jenkins Certified Art Teacher) under the tutorage of Gary and Kathwren Jenkins. Photographing and painting nature has become my new passion.
