About Me |
Let's see. I'm 47 and I'm living in the Mojave Desert. So, I got into Chickens. One day I hope to sell hatching eggs on Ebay. In 2007, I had one Coupe. In 2008, I now have six Coupes and I am starting with Peacocks. I live without common Electricity, we use a gas powered Generator and a Solar pannel. For Water, we pay to have water trucked in.
I grew up in Orange County, so living in an RV is alot different than what I am used to.

Chickens...just Chickens
Above is housed in Coupe 1
Rooster- Silkie. Not sure if he is a Partridge or just Black and Brown. He is a good parent though.
Rooster- Serama
Hens: Two Silkies-White and Partridge. Two Buff Braham. Two Self Blue d'Uccles, one is bearded. One Serama-Black with White Spots. One Black Cochin, kinda large for a Bantam. Two mix breeds: One is Silkie and Self Blue d'Uccle. A brown bird that stands like a d'Uccle. The other is a Silkie and White Leghorn. She is White with Black dashes of color.
Chicks: Brown Old English, Black Silkie.
Coupe 2
Rhode Island Reds from Welp Hatchery.
Changing this for 2010 layers. Hope to have Rhode Island Whites instead of Reds.

Coupe 3
The Splash Cochin Roo is actually a mix Silkie/Cochin.
Adding more Giant Blue Cochins and White Crested Black Polish for 2010. |

Coupe 4
Egg color has changed a bit as birds have grown and time goes on. Now have green egg layers, one bird lays tan. Desided to remove her from this coupe and only hatch Green Eggs. The Tan egg is still good eating. |

Millie fluer d'Uccle. One Roo, Four Pullets. Blood line, private party Sheri in Yuciapa. Her parent stock is small in size as she has been breeding down for size, they are booted and bearded, hoping my chicks are too.
Silkie- Two chicks, requested Hens if possible, but...I do need one Roo. My boy is getting old, he was in his youth in 2007. One chick Partridge color, the other Blue color. Blood like, private party Sheri in Yuciapa.
