Photography is my passion and I have been taking pictures most of my life. I remember my 1st cameras, a poloroid and a Brownie. Capturing an image facinated me, and I was hooked!
I am Minnesota grown, and love this beautiful state. I am an active member of the Minnesota Valley Photography Club. My main photography interests are nature, landscape, wildlife, cityscape, architecture and most everything in-between. (does that cover just about everything?!)
I have won a few awards, and had some of my photos published in the Minnesota History magazine, Nine Mile Creek Watershed District calendar ( 2 consecutive publications), the Minneapolis Star and Tribune, Bloomington Magazine, and Parenting Magazine.

On another note, I am the proud mother of 2 and grandmother of 4, work too hard, don't play enough, and take pictures every opportunity I have. You will rarely find me without a camera in hand.

Rules I live by:
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" .
If we all lived by that rule, thought about how our actions and words affect the people around us, we would live in a better world. |
Interests & Hobbies:
photography (of course), camping, traveling, and hiking when my arthritis is not too bad. |
TV Shows:
I am not a big tv person, but do enjoy a couple programs, including Grey's Anatomy and American Idol |
Favorite Music & Bands:
Blues, R&B are my favorite, but I enjoy most styles of music.
Keb Mo, Nora Jones, Jack Johnson, Robert Cray, India Arie, are just a few of my favorites. |
Favorite People You Know:
My mother and father. I thank them for a wonderful family life and Christian background they provided for me, my sisters and brother. They are the perfect example of what marriage should be.
My children for loving me unconditionally, growing up to be productive and loving adults and being great parents to my 4 lovely grandchildren! |
