My husband and I live in East Tennessee. We love the mild winters in this part of the country and the beautiful Smoky Mountains. I'm from GA, he is from VA, we raised our son in FL and came up here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city (Jacksonville) and to be closer to our son and his family who live in NC. I have been an artist all my life; Mostly acrylic paintings of scenery and animals -- especially horses! I started repainting dolls as a hobby only about 5 years ago. I started with rescued Barbies and have moved on to the NRFB or deBoxed Barbies, My Scenes, Tonners, and I really want a BJD!. I have already done a wig for one (without the head, even! It gives me great pleasure to take a standard doll and create something beautiful through makeup. hair and with a little help from my friends, fashion! I also have a little dog, a female mini schnauzer, who is my "baby".
