favorite fibers and yarns:
I realy like to weave with alpaca/silk yarn, tencel, and Gems merino.
My favorite fibers to spin are 1. whatever I can get my hands on at the moment and carded corriedale, no, shetland, no - uhhhh alpaca...no, wait...uh....camel hair....maybe or ....uhm well, actually it probably is really whatever is in my hand at the moment for spinning, and carded corriedale for wet-felting. |
Rules I live by:
1. Play fair
2.Always leave the party while you are having fun
3. Never hesitate to be the first to say,"I'm sorry"
4.Weave daily
5. Garden often
6. Give love generously |
To Do's:
Take a class or teach a class at Campbell School of Craft
Teach at Touchstone School of Craft
Paint a great big Watercolor (8'X4')
Get all 3 kids successfully through college and make sure they know I love them no matter who they choose to become;0)
Be good to my husband
Have a positive attitude
make a big difference in the world by an act of sacrificial giving (yeah!) |

My favorite people change. My favorite thing about those I like is that they have qualities that I want to emmulate. I enjoy being around benevolent people who communicate in a quiet, sedate way, because it's so NOT me. I wouldn't mind having some of it rub off onto me, though:0) |
Flowers I love in my Garden:
Foxglove, Hollyhocks, Marigolds, marigolds, marigolds, zinias, begonias, lantana, sweet peas, Squash Blossoms
Morning Glories in the yard, and climbing every vertical line, but not in the garden. And my favorite Morning Glories are "Heavenly Blue" |
Favorite Reads:
Oh, I just love to read. I read/listen to Ken Follett, Nicholas Sparks, Sue Grafton, Jan Karon, Lillian Jackson-Brawn. Really, I just love to read! |
