I Founded the not for profit organization in 1996 to care for the many hopeless starving horses in Florida. Every time I came across a starving horse and spoke with the authorities nothing was ever done to help the horses. I believe that when we are faced repeatedly with a wrong in this world and it is pulling at our heart strings, we are called to do something to help. Even volunteering at your local animal shelter can make a huge differance for a precious animal in need of love. The Foundation is named after my third horse "Aziizi", an Egyptian Arabian mare.You can view her photos on album "All the Pretty Horses." Our other personal animals are also rescues that include two horses, two dogs, two rabbits recently saved from snake food and one cat who decided to live at our home. Aziizi Foundation has now saved nearly 40 horses from needless suffering, including a few that are blind.We average 15 horses every year. Our hopes are to one day have our own land so we can help more horses in need.   Horse Rescue We can't save them all but Aziizi Foundation, Inc. will save as many abused horses as financialy possible.
