 My career as a Designer began in 2001 when I discovered mixed-media art, rubber stamping & scrapbooking. Since that time I have been on a never-ending journey of discovery! I have always enjoyed decorative painting and other crafts, so it was a natural transition to mixed-media art. I like to experiment with a variety of materials and techniques to add texture, dimension and depth to my artwork. I create custom papers and embellishments for my scrapbook projects, design jewelry, unique altered items, and home décor items. My artwork has been displayed at CHA trade shows, published in various books, magazines, newsletters and websites. I have appeared on multiple web TV episodes, have many years experience in working with design teams and manufacturers, writing articles/tutorials and product reviews for ezines and websites, and have taught at local stores, online, at Scrappers Dream Vacation and other events. The projects in these albums demonstrate a true variety of skill levels - ranging from my basic beginnings as as scrapbooker and card maker, to my experimentation into the world of mixed-media. I strive to show the world that there is NO WRONG in ART - Only a chance to learn, grow, experiment, and dare to show your own style. My husband and our two young boys reside in Clayton, NC, with a menagerie of pets.
